Are You Ready For The 2010 Rookies?

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, January 18, 2010.

The underclassmen declaration date for the 2010 football draft was just this past Friday, but that hasn't slowed down SA•GE Collectibles, Inc.'s pursuit of the top rookies of perhaps the greatest draft class in decades.

SA•GE is very proud to announce that Colt McCoy, the Texas Longhorns' award-winning and record-setting quarterback and C.J. Spiller, the all-around dynamic running back who is the front-runner to be the first back taken in the 2010 draft are just two of many great names headlining it's HIT 2010 Football - Low Series product.

SA•GE is also enthusiastic to report that HIT 2010 Football - Low Series' early March release will again make it the first fully-licensed product issued featuring these rookie standouts. Spiller, McCoy and the other rookies will be personally autographing trading cards for HIT that will feature a jaw-dropping average of 6 autographed cards per box. Unlike the competition, each autographed card features SA•GE's patented autographed process to help ensure its authenticity.

Be sure to check back as more names are announced for inclusion in HIT 2010 Football - Low Series including a Heisman Trophy winner and a recent Heisman Trophy runner-up.

Update 1/30/2010: Sam Bradford and Toby Gerhart have been added to the HIT 2010 Football - Low Series!

SAGE President Tom Geideman Highlighted in Sports Illustrated

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: SA•GE Collectibles, Inc. President Tom Geideman was highlighted in a Sports Illustrated article in the August 24, 2009 issue entitled "The Last Iconic Baseball Card."

Among the highlights in the article SI notes that Geideman was responsible for putting Ken Griffey Jr. on what "could very well be the last iconic rookie card ever made."

After many successes in the industry like the above, Tom Geideman and Robert Sadlak  became fed up with the overproduction and over-proliferation of products in their beloved hobby, and decided to put their money where their mouths were. In 1998, backed by creative determination, a patent pending process, and nearly every penny they had to their names the two formed their own card company. Borrowing the first two letters of their last names they incorporated SA•GE in June of that year.

As Sports Illustrated points out, "sets are defined by their rookies, and the Griffey pick was a defining set... After making the Mariners out of spring training in '89, Griffey was an immediate sensation."

The same can be said for many of the rookies included in SAGE2, SAGE Autograph, HIT 2009 Football High Series, and HIT 2009 Football Low Series, the very first authentic Draft Football issues to be released in 2009. Don't miss out on the action!
